Thank you for visiting my Multiply site. Please feel free to browse through my collection of photos, thoughts, reviews and so on, and post a reply if you see something you like or just want to get in touch. I picked up photography as a hobby on a cold Black Friday morning in 2005 and have been shooting since then. My first camera was a Nikon D70s and for the first few weeks I shoot using the automatic settings. After getting advice from friends, who have been shooting for several years and knows alot about photography than meets the eye, I started to experiment with using manual setting and different shooting techniques. I found Washington DC to be a nice place practice my shooting skills and in no time I feel confident with my equipment and skills that I started looking into another camera, a better one. In comes the D200 and it's still my best camera to date. Since I moved from North Virgina back to my small island home of Tuvalu in the Pacific, I haven't been able to purchase any new camera equipments and such and thus make due with what I have. The difference in location (North urban America to small tropical Pacific island) provide new photographic challenges and hazards but all contributed to my learning experience. I'd really like to hear your thoughts on my progress, whether you're an enthusiastic beginner like myself, a professional and or anyone in any profession who appreciate good photos . So please browse through if you have the time and thanks again for dropping by. Hope to have you as a frequent visitor. Lomi Paeniu
