for everyone
Pictures taken from vacation at Nukulaelae. While I was there, the island was host to the 19th meeting of the Church of Tuvalu (Ekalesia Kelisiano o Tuvalu). So there was festivities and I did my best to be involved and also take as many pictures as I can. Enjoy

Hey Vonne. Haha well I was on vacation... a pretty long vacation. 100 pictures is nothing, there's still more to upload. Which I will do once I sorted out which to upload. Anyway I took this picture at ISO 1600, which I've been scratching my head just now as to why I did that. It's things like these I should remember to check before taking a shot like this... oh well.

Greeting from me, George, in London (UK).Fantastic photos...Thank you. I am researching a book that features your islands and would love know more about the wildlife (good and bad) and species of animal and plants that are native to the islands and used in cooking, healing, buil;ding etc. I would also love to know about the weather in the region and any details that pertain to survival of the local people. Common sickness problems and treatments (Natural and man made). Anything that anyone could help with would be fantastic. In the meantime, I wanted to say hello and thank you for a wonderful site. The stories and photographs from the war years were fascinating and the wonderful scenery, scarred here and there by war time building and wrecks served as a sombre reminder that wars damage more than just lives. Great site. Thanks again.
